دولت آمریکا پس از پرتاب ماهواره چینی به حدود 36 هزار کیلومتری سطح زمین، تهدید جدید و اجتناب‌ناپذیری برای جنگ فضایی احساس کرده و به همین خاطر، تدوین راهبرد جدید فضایی را در دستور کار دارد.
